Event Info:

Join us on Saturday September 27, 2008 to Celebrate Animals on the Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green 6110 Bluestone Rd Sandy Springs, GA. This years walk/run is to raise funds to support our capital campaign goal to build a new animal welfare medical clinic. This clinic will serve the medical needs of indigent animals in Metro Atlanta for decades to come. You can help animals in need by raising money either by asking face to face or through our FREE personalized web page service.

Get involved! Bring your dog! Bring Your Money! You can walk or just come and enjoy the values at the animal Expo and silent auction. Take the kids to the family fun zone. Enjoy the Super Pet Adoption and continuous entertainment from out stage. Take the obedience challenge by entering your dog in a fun obedience challenge. We encourage everyone to set a goal of raising at least $150. Participate with or without your dog. Walk in honor of a pet that is no longer with us or cannot be their (cats) by placing a picture of your pet on our "Loving Memory Board" Don't miss the animal event of the year. It's great fun for the entire family.

Enjoy refreshments and demonstrations before during and after the walk. Shop at the vendor booths. Enter our dog contests to win prizes.

Pet SuperAdoption  View hundreds of dogs and cats looking for a home. Our goal is to find homes for 300 homeless animals. Need a new best friend?

Continuous Stage Entertainment throughout the day.

Memory Wall  Bring a picture of a pet no longer with us or a pet that cannot be at the walk.

Vendor Expo  Shop and take advantage of deals from 50 to 75 pet-related vendors

Family Fun Zone  Great fun for youth includes Spin Art, Sand Art, Bean Bag Toss, YoYo Balloons and slides

Costume Contest  Dress up yourself and your dog in Halloween Costume. This is always great fun for everyone. (See pictures from last year)

Take the Obedience Challenge  See if your dog can compete in sit-stay, down-stay, recall and other obedience challenges.

Food and Drinks will be available throughout the day

Fees:

Standard: Walk/Run Registration Fee is $20.00 before September 23. $30 Thereafter 
General Admission to event is FREE (Donations are accepted)

Lazy Dog Registration: $50.00
If you'd rather sleep in, we'll miss you. If you send in a minimum of $50, you'll receive by mail a limited-edition Celebrate Animals T-shirt (two weeks after the event).
