Honorary Chair 2008 Celebrate Animals
The Atlanta Animal Alliance is proud to announce Eileen
Gordon, Editor and Publisher of Southern Seasons magazine as Honorary Chair for
2008 Celebrate Animals. Eileen is a avid pet lover who often features pets in
her award-winning magazine. She has always found room in her publication and her
heart for pets, especially stray and homeless animals looking for
adoption.
Ms. Gordon has a special fondness for Duke (pictured above).
Duke became a special part of her life after the death of her daughter in a car
accident. Her daughter dropped off Duke at her house before a fateful accident
took her life. Duke represented a special connection and fond remembrance of her
beloved daughter.
